Thor 3 Spec Script

Having watched Marvel's Thor 2, which I enjoyed a lot, I could not help noticing some aspects of the story, the characters and the overall presentation that did not completely satisfy me. I came up with an idea for a third movie and decided to give it a go. I began to find out about the art of screenwriting and found it very challenging but also very fun at the same time. So here's the result, my personal version of Thor 3:

Soon, an undercover S.H.I.E.L.D. spy shows up, gains their trust, and accompanies Thor and Jane to Greenland where Thor slays an astray frost beast and in doing so, unintentionally awakens an ancient menace. Will Thor manage once more to avert the impending destruction of the great World Tree or is Ragnarok upon the Gods at last? (120 pages)

  2. This was my first time reading a fan made script. I think the original Marvel characters are on point. It really feels like it's Thor 3. I am a comic book artist/writer so I visualized the movie in my head. ( spoiler :-) ) The Midgard Serpent is a worthy foe. I also like how Loki played off on Odin back and forth. I am a character appearance and continuity enthusiast. If this script makes it to theaters I would like to see maybe Morgan Le Fay and Scarlet Witch, or Beta Ray Bill and a resurrected Kurse, and/or maybe even Ragnarok ( a clone of Thor ) make appearances if possible because they all have roles in the comic book storylines pertaining to the serpent as well. I enjoyed your script to where I was looking for end credit scene spoilers too ! (lol) All in all I think it is good work. Marvel should hire you !

    1. Thanks a lot for the praise and for "watching" the script! ;-)

Now, picture this: The end credits are rolling, somewhere in the corner it says "Inspired by the work of R. H.-S.", and then suddenly, the spoiler scene comes up: Morgan Le Fay, Scarlet Witch, Beta Ray Bill, Kurse and Ragnarok sit at a table in a (the!) shawarma restaurant, drooping, eating. Ragnarok (muttering): "Ragnarok is also a person." The 5 exchange a desperate glance, collectively shake their heads. They resume eating.

      Deal? :-)
